Single-point detection when unit cannot be rigidly mounted. A slosh shield is utlized when the operating environment contains intensive agitation of the liquid, boiling fluids, or surging due to large inflows and outflows of liquid. Buna is typically suitable for use with aromatic hydrocarbons, diluted acids, and bases within a temperature range of -50 to 120 degrees C. Widely used in storage tanks of vehicles, generators, transmissions and hydraulic systems. Other uses are in lubrication, recovery, refining and fuel.
