Range/dryer flush mount receptacle - terminals furnished with pressure clamps under screws to protect wire. Approved for copper and aluminum up to #4 wire. Back wired. Easy-to-wire, simply insert wires and tighten set screws. For mounting in a single gang box use eagle cover plate #39 or 2068; for mounting in a double gang box or 4 (101.60) or 411/16 (119.06) square box with plaster cover, use eagle cover plate 68 or 2168. Minimum clearance depth required is 11/2 (38.10) from mounting surface. These devices have no exposed screws or rivets on the face of the device. Extra strong phenolic back will take over 100 pounds of pressure on the contacts. Meets fed. Spec. Wc-596e.
