The module is a candle flame spectrum LED lighting source designed for use in various applications, including theatrical candles, handheld prop candlesticks, themed lighting, gas lamp props, décor lanterns, and antique-style light fixtures. The device simulates the appearance and flickering of a candle flame. It provides a realistic flame effect for theatrical settings or environments where the use of real flames is not permitted. The candle flame light module can be easily integrated into props, such as lanterns or gas lamps, and is controlled by a flicker controller that modulates the light output to mimic the natural appearance of a candle flame. The kit operates from a 9-volt battery. This kit is compatible with alternative power sources ranging from 9V to 12V DC. This is a modular kit, the light and the flicker control uses a standard 4-Pin RGB style lighting connector. The Light and controller connect with a 6-inch-long cable. The input to the controller uses a standard DC barrel type connector with a center positive +V polarity. The overall length of the assembled parts is 22-inches. The kit includes the candle flame light module, the connector cable, the flicker controller, and a 9-volt battery clip assembly. The candle flame module light head is a little over 1-inch tall. The lighting module design utilizes two LEDs, each with three internal elements, modulated by the flicker controller, which produces slightly different patterns for a smooth and realistic flicker flame effect. The flicker flame simulation controller retains its last settings when the power is removed. The lights provide an ultra-warm 1,850 Kelvin light output with a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 85 to 90. The modules, when operated from 9 volts, have a light output capability of 26 lumens at 9 Volts and 45 lumens at 12 volts. The high light output allows additional light diffusing structures to be used over the module.
