What is it? Our Water Shut off valves are made of Polypropylene,It adopts Push to connect technology, which allows users to connect and disconnect quick and easy without the need of any other tools.It fits standard 1/4 inch OD plastic RO tubing, Copper, CPVC, PEX and PVC pipe or hose. Where to use it? Applications include RODI system,Irrigation System, refrigerator ice maker tubing, coffee machine etc.the automatic ASOV will shut off the incoming water supply to the RO unit.it does this when the storage tank becomes full.without an automatic shut off valve the waste water will run constantly How to use it? Just pop in your 1/4" tubing into tubing end, pushing until it won't go in. To remove, just push in the outer circle on either end and pull right out. You need to make sure the tubing is cut squared to insure no leaks. when you look through the two hoses, the hose that you can see through is the side that is always open. The other side is shut off whenever the 'high' side has high pressure. This valve has an (in) port, an ( out) port and two common (tank) ports. The (in) connects to the city water supply. The (out) connects to the pre filter input. The (tank) connects to the filtered water out of the RO and to the storage tank or clean water serving faucet. When (tank) pressure = 0.6 X (in) pressure, valve stops (in) water from reaching the (out). This also stops the waste water from flowing. What you will receive? 1/4 Water Shut off Tool x 1
