European Resource Center

MFS-EMMAUS, supported by the USAID, through the VICAPT project, organized a webinar for 45 students of the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies, the University of Sarajevo, as targeted training for monitoring of strategic litigations on trafficking in persons.

Newly acquired knowledge about trafficking crime, counter trafficking channels, and combatting stigmatization and prejudice related to the TiP victims in BiH and beyond, along with the earmarked aspects to be monitored during strategic litigation, give the students the capacity to gain insight how to achieve greater protection of the legally guaranteed rights of trafficking victims in criminal proceedings.
Such training activities with young people sensitize the public, raise awareness and improve the prevention of trafficking in persons through targeted education through interactive studies of best practices in BiH and in the world.

Comparative analysis of answers in the pre-test and post-test (94.29% of correctly answered questions) shows  35% competence increase.
