In order to strengthen the activities of preventing violence against children and encouraging children and their families to contribute to the identification and reporting of cases of violence against children, International Forum of Solidarity - EMMAUS, within the project "Development of Child Friendly Guidelines for the Prevention of Violence Against Children in Bosnia and Herzegovina" in cooperation with recognized experts in the area of prevention of violence against children and protection of children, prepared and published "Guidelines for Prevention of Violence Against Children in the Digital Environment" for professionals working in this field.

Child Friendly Guidelines for the Prevention of Violence against Children in Bosnia and Herzegovina are specifically adapted to the needs of children and their families, complemented by important categories of violence against children, the so-called "online violence" or "violence in the digital environment".

The second Education of professionals (Training of trainers – ToT) on the topic "Development of Child Friendly Guidelines for the Prevention of Violence Against Children in Bosnia and Herzegovina" is taking place on 20th and 21st November, 2017, at the Hollywood Hotel in Sarajevo. The ToT is hosted by IFS-EMMAUS, in cooperation with the Ministry of Security of BiH / Department for combating trafficking in human beings, members of the Regional Monitoring Teams for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and other professionals involved in the field of recognizing and responding to cases of violence against children, as well as coordination of activities and services provided to children victims of violence, which aims to improve capacities for the prevention of violence against children in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Education provides a comprehensive and systematic overview of the situation, including the implementation of mapping of the situation in the field of violence against children in the digital environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina; legislative framework with reference to national and international legislation; through practical case studies, present a system of early recognition of violence against children, including violence in the digital environment and reporting of cases in BiH; and analyze phenomenology of crime and specific manifestations. Through the processing of various thematic areas, with interactive discussions and case studies, the capacities of professionals involved in the field of child protection will be increased.
