The International Forum of Solidarity-EMMAUS will participate in the World Congress "Child Dignity in the Digital World", which begins on October 3, 2017 in Rome, Italy. The Congress is organized by the Child Protection Center of the Institute of Psychology of the Pontificial Gregorian University, one of the world's leading institutions dedicated to the fight against sexual abuse of children and adolescents, and it aims to draw international attention to online sexual abuse of children and to establish an important milestone on the way to better protection of children in our digitized society.

This is a very important step for the IFS-EMMAUS, but also for Bosnia and Herzegovina, since the activities of the B&H SOS hotline for the reporting of inappropriate content online (materials with contents of sexual abuse of children, exploitation of children for child pornography, child abuse, etc.)  – Sigurno dijete, managed by IFS-EMMAUS, will be presented to the wider public and relevant actors.

On the final day of the Conference, on October 6, 2017, the organizers hope that world leaders will join Pope Francis to adopt an official declaration or action to mobilize and unite people and nations around the world in order to seek a safer childhood for the children of the world.
