European Resource Center

Given the need to create a curriculum for the police academy, the Ministry of Security of BiH, in cooperation with Save the Children, develops project activities with the aim of improving the knowledge of police officers regarding child abuse issues through information-communication technologies and with the aim of mapping the existing capacities for establishing effective systems for combating sexual violence on the internet and other forms of child abuse on the Internet.

In order to implement these activities, Training of Trainers (ToT) was organised and held in the period 07.-09. August 2017, at hotel Lavina, in Jahorina. The second, follow up, module / TOT is taking place on the 28.-30. August 2017, also at hotel Lavina in Jahorina, where International Forum of Solidarity EMMAUS is, once again, actively taking part in the training.

The primary objective of these modules is to improve the knowledge of officials representing a group of educated and certified persons, who would further systematically be able to improve knowledge in the given field.
