Search for a woman from photograph that deeply disturbed citizens of Sarajevo: She is holding a suspicious tissue over baby’s mouth and nose

Abuse and exploitation of children for begging is nothing new, and people who do this for life are playing on the account of sympathy of other people. People will always show pity when a child is involved, specially one in arms of a mother, and will give some change, thinking they are doing the right thing.

Experts, however, are warning citizens for years now, that they are doing the exact opposite thing.

One of the latest cases of this sort, that shocked public, was noted yesterday in Sarajevo. One woman noticed younger woman near the SCC (Sarajevo City Center), who held a couple months old baby, on unbearable heat and begged in front of the main entrance to the Center. After the woman took a photo of her and the baby, she noticed that babys’ nose and mouth are covered with a tissue or a rag, which woke up the suspicion that baby is “drugged” to sleep.

The responsible citizen immediately reported this to the police, but sadly, the mentioned woman and baby were not in that place anymore. Mobile team is trying to trace this woman who, allegedly, is already familiar to the police, and was separated from the baby before.
